Hanover Valley would like to present a month-long game of excitement. Your mission, should you accept, is to try to eliminate each other from the game using mock weapons(water guns) in an effort to become the last remaining player.
WHO CAN PLAY
-Anyone in Hanover, PA and the surrounding areas
-Ages 12 and up
HOW TO PLAY
-The game is free to play. You must provide your own water gun.
-To play you must submit your information by Wednesday, May 19th.
-Targets will be distributed between Thursday, May 20th and Sunday, May 23rd.
-Game play will begin Monday, May 24th, 12:01am. Game play will end Sunday June 20, Midnight or
when only one player remains, whichever occurs first.
-Each player will be given one target(the person you are after).
-It is crucial that you do not lose/forget your target. It is advisable that you keep your printed
“target” with you whenever possible. Should you lose your target please print another one
from the Who’s Left page.
-Eliminations are made by shooting your target with a water gun(provide your own). The shot must
be obviously made. If clothing or skin is wet (and it isn’t raining), then the shot is obvious. The
goal is not to soak the target. Once they declare they are dead, stop shooting. In addition, a
declaration of death mean you are dead. Making such a claim deceitfully will disqualify you.
-Any water gun or other intentional water projection devise is legal(provide your own). Cups,
glasses, bottles of water, sprinkles, garden hoses, fire hydrants, etc are ILLEGAL.
-When you are eliminated you are obligated to email the Moderator at your earliest
convenience. This will allow us to update the website to show who is remaining.
-The website will be updated frequently to show who remains.
-When you are eliminated, you are to tell the person who eliminated you who you target was, for
they are now his or her target.
-All players must make their first kill within midnight, Wednesday, June 2 or you will be automatically
eliminated. If you fail to make a kill within a week you will be notified and the moderator will pass your
target to the appropriate person. This rule is subject to change according to the speed of the game.
-There are certain times and places that considered off limits for this game:
-There is a cease fire from 6:00am to 1:00pm on Sundays to allow everyone to go to church and
allow for fellowship afterwards.
-The church building is off limits at all times to facilitate ministry work being done by those playing.
-All Hanover Valley events are off-limits. This includes Growth Groups. A Hanover Valley event is
considered official if it is announced at church and/or listed in the bulletin. This is not a blanket
cease fire time. If one is not going to said event, they are still fair game during that time period.
-A player is off limits at work while “on the clock”. However, they are not off limit if they are not “on
the clock” or are en-route.
-These are the only times that are universally off limits. If more are needed they will be
announced on the website.
-Play honest and use common sense.
-You may only enter a residence with permission.
-Use of an illegal “weapon” or shooting at an off-limit time will be means for termination from the
game.
-Do your best not to involve local police, paramedics, firemen or other local officials. Use common sense
and have fun.
-Please contact the moderator with any questions or concerns.
